BREAST LIFT

A breast lift, or mastopexy, is a surgical procedure that reshapes and lifts sagging breasts to achieve a more youthful and firm appearance. It focuses on repositioning the nipple, removing excess skin, and tightening the remaining tissue. While it restores shape, a traditional breast lift does not significantly enhance the breast’s projection or volume.

In an auto-augmentation breast lift, the patient’s own breast tissue is used to increase projection and fullness without implants. By repositioning and tucking the soft tissue into the upper portion of the breast, this technique acts like a natural implant. It enhances breast volume and creates a more rounded, lifted appearance, particularly for patients with sufficient tissue.

The main difference lies in the approach: a standard breast lift reshapes and lifts, while an auto-augmentation breast lift adds volume by utilizing the patient’s tissue. This makes the latter an excellent option for those seeking both lift and fullness without introducing synthetic implants, resulting in a natural yet enhanced outcome.
